The company says the two Premier Is introduced in January have been booked solid since then and reports a 50% increase in bookings by clients travelling for pleasure.
It plans to base the third aircraft in the south of France, ready for the peak summer season.
Club 328 chief executive Mike Farge said: “We have seen an increasing number of charter requests from both individuals and the important aircraft broker fraternity for smaller aircraft to accommodate flights for an average of four people. The Premier is perfect for short hops all around Europe and we are confident the enhanced Premier IAs will play a key role in helping to grow our business.”
Raytheon’s president commercial aircraft, Brad Hatt said this reflected the strong sales in Europe and the Middle East, with the company delivering 61 aircraft to the region in 2005. Beechcraft and Hawker international commercial deliveries increased 89% between 2004 and 2005.
