CMC Electronics (Hall 4, C19A) has signed a contract to supply its next-generation Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver, featuring 24-channel GPS technology in an ARINC-743A sensor unit, to Honeywell.

This latest CMA-3024 receiver is a direct upgrade for the CMA-3012 receiver and employs NovAtel's Narrow Correlator technology and has 24 simultaneous signal processing channels.

Bruce Bailey, vice-president, Commercial Aviation, CMC Electronics, says: "This contract confirms CMC Electronics' position as the supplier of choice of advanced aviation GPS technology and products."
