Coastal Optical Systems, a US subsidiary of Germany's Jenoptik, is looking to team with an aviation specialist after winning a patent for use of hemispherical fisheye lenses for monitoring cockpits, cabins and other remote areas. The lens allows complete cockpit image capture.
