Partners Kaman Aerospace and Litton Guidance & Control Systems have unveiled an advanced glass cockpit for the SH-2G(A) Super Seasprite helicopter proposed to the Royal Australian Navy.
The highly-automated Integrated Tactical Avionics System (ITAS) enables a crew of two to fly the aircraft and manage its multi-mission equipment suite.
Kaman president Adm Huntington Hardisty, US Navy (Ret), says ITAS is a low-risk avionics system that makes the SH-2G the most sophisticated, most integrated rotary-wing platform flying.
