Three of the seven crewmembers of the STS 90/Columbia Neurolab Spacelab mission due to be launched on a 14 day-plus medical intensive research flight on 16 April practise an emergency escape from the top of the launch pad 39B at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida. In an emergency during the countdown, the crew would make an emergency exit from the Columbia and ride in slide-wire baskets into an underground bunker.
