British Airways intends to start Aerospatiale/British Aerospace Concorde schedules again in October and Air France in November now that the aviation authorities have issued the compulsory airworthiness directive (AD) defining the modifications to be carried out. Actual dates will be announced "as soon as possible", says BA. The modifications include: fitting the new Michelin radial tyres; fitting the fuel tanks above the undercarriage bogeys with self-sealing liners; and armouring gear and wheelbay wiring.
