Airports will push next year for more pricing freedom starting with the congestion pricing that the FAA is considering for highly congested New York LaGuardia airport, says Morrison & Foerster lawyer Brian Busey. They may also consider an experimental plan put forth by GRA Consultants president Frank Berardino under which this sort of differential pricing would be used only during the length of a specific expansion project both to fund it and to limit traffic during construction.
