Continental Airlines has painted its latest Boeing 777-200ER in a novel colour scheme designed by renowned pop artist Peter Max to commemorate the City of New York's millennium celebration, dubbed "NYC 2000". The airline operates 14 Boeing 777s and the type has begun its ninth transatlantic route for Continental, replacing a McDonnell Douglas DC-10 on the daily New York Newark-Milan service.
