Honeywell has received an $18.25 million contract for 495 colour multifunction displays for retrofit to all Singaporean and Taiwanese Lockheed Martin F-16s. Boeing has received $23 million from the US Air Force for software upgrades for the Rockwell B-1 bomber. AgustaWestland's UK subsidiary Westland Helicopters has been awarded a UK Ministry of Defence contract worth £40-50 million ($58-72 million) for the repair, overhaul and supply of spares for rotor system components, including blades, hubs and transmissions. Subcontracts include the MoD's aircraft maintenance organisation DARA and Westland Transmissions. Elta, the Israel Aircraft Industries subsidiary, has received an Israeli defence ministry contract for signals intelligence systems to equip three Gulfstream Vs.Elta will act as prime contractor and will receive $60 million of the $250 million total contract value. IAI Commercial Aircraft Group's Engineering Division will support Elta and IAI's Bedek division has been selected by Gulfstream as maintenance provider. Lockheed Martin is to integrate a US Navy earth-penetrator warhead with the Army Tactical Missile System short-range ballistic missile under a $15.6 million US Army technology demonstration contract. Stork Aerospace's Fokker Elmo and Fokker Aerostructures have received contracts potentially worth $73 million from Lockheed Martin for the systems development and demonstration phase of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. GKN Aerospace Services is to participate in the design and production of resin transfer moulded composite parts for the Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter under an agreement with BAE Systems. Work will include wiring harnesses and utility doors. Lockheed Martin Aircraft Center, Greenville, has received an $11.5 million contract for installation of the Phase II Avionics Upgrade to 15 McDonnell Douglas C-9B Nightingales.
