Raytheon is to manufacture 1,689 direct-fire TOW 2A and top-attack TOW 2B anti-armour missiles for Israel, Japan, Jordan, Luxembourg and Spain under a $52 million contract. CMC Electronics is to supply GPS-based flight management systems for three Austrian air force Lockheed Martin C-130s being upgraded by the UK's Marshall Aerospace. Quantum3D is to provide Saab Avionics with a graphics card to drive the digital map system and a video/graphics subsystem to power the displays on Swedish NH Industries HKP14 (NH90)multirole helicopters. The US Customs Service has purchased 16 shipsets of ACSS combined terrain and traffic collision avoidance systems and Raytheon Mode S/IFF transponders for installation in Lockheed Martin P-3s. Rockwell Collins is to provide avionics support for US Coast Guard Dassault HU-25 Guardians for a fixed price per flight hour under a six-year logistics services contract. Slovenia has converted an option for two Eurocopter AS532ALCougar helicopters to a firm order. Slovenia ordered two Cougars in July last year. Together the two contracts are worth around o60 million ($58 million). Kaiser Electronics has selected Three-Five Systems to supply silicon-chip microdisplays to drive the 510 x 200mm (20 x 8in) panoramic, rear-projection, cockpit display in the Lockheed Martin F-35. The Canadian Department of National Defence has signed an C$80 million ($50 million) deal with Lufthansa Technik and Airbus Germany to modify two CC-150 Polaris (Airbus A310s) to in-flight refuelling tankers. The first conversion will begin late next year and is expected to take eight months. Harris will supply digital map modules for Northrop Grumman's cockpit upgrade for Australian and Canadian Boeing F/A-18A/Bs under a contract potentially worth $7 million. Harris will produce additional digital map computers for US Navy F/A-18E/Fs and US Army Boeing CH-47Fs under a $5.1 million contract.
