•  General Electric has received an initial $15.5 million contract for engine development and aircraft integration to support flight testing in 2007 of the uprated, digitally controlled 2,600shp (1,940kW) CT7-8B5 engine in the US Army Special Operations Command Sikorsky MH-60M Black Hawk.
  •  Lockheed Martin is to produce 71 Fairchild A/OA-10 Precision Engagement Spiral 1 modification kits under a $9.1 million US Air Force contract. - Under a $17.6 million contract, the Lockheed Martin/Northrop Grumman Longbow joint venture is to begin development of an upgraded fire-control radar for the US Army’s Boeing AH-64 Apache Longbow Block 3 modernisation. Northstar Aerospace has received a $1.2 million contract to continue developing the uprated face-gear transmission for the Block 3 Apache.
  •  Woodward Governor is to supply the fuel metering unit for the digitally controlled General Electric T700-701D engine that will enter US Army service in 2008 on the Boeing AH-64 and Sikorsky UH-60.
  •  BAE Systems is to provide 31 ALR-56M radar warning receivers for US Air Force and Marine Corps Lockheed Martin C-130Js as part of a $31 million contract.
  •  Rockwell Collins is to upgrade and maintain the common avionics architecture system (CAAS) for three US Army helicopter types under two contracts worth a total of $482 million. The helicopters to be modified are the Boeing MH/CH-47 and MH-47, Boeing MH-6 and Sikorsky MH/UH-60 and other variants.
  •  The US Army has ordered 13 Lockheed Martin modernised target acquisition designation sight/pilot’s night-vision sensors (MTADS/PNVS) for a total of $74.9 million. The units are to be installed on the Boeing AH-64D Block II Apache fleet.
  •  Sikorsky is to perform special progressive aircraft rework for one US Navy VH-60N executive helicopter for $5.4 million.
  •  Northrop Grumman is to deliver 30 LN-120G stellar navigation systems for US Air Force RC-135s.
