- L-3 Communications’ Link Simulation and Training division has received a $51.9 million contract to produce six tactical operational flight trainers for the US Navy’s Boeing F/A-18C/D fighters.
- Finland has signed a contract with EADS Casa to acquire two C-295 transports, plus options on five more.
- Total Immersion Software and The Fighter Collection are to provide desktop trainers for the US Air National Guard’s upgraded Fairchild A-10C ground-attack aircraft.
- Raytheon has received an $8 million contract to develop a lightweight active electronically scanned array radar to support the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s integrated sensor structure programme.
- The US Navy has awarded Lockheed Martin Systems Integration-Owego a $76.5 million contract to produce 12 mission avionics systems for the Sikorsky MH-60R.
