The Spanish air force has signed a contract for nine CASA C295 twin turboprop transports. It first announced the order in April last year. All aircraft will be delivered by 2004. Raytheon has received a $109.6 million US Navy contract for full rate production of the AGM-154A Joint Stand-off Weapon (JSOW). Production will include 488 JSOWs for the USN and US Air Force. The Australian Defence Force has awarded Rockwell Collins a $10 million contract for HF radios as part of its radio communications modification plan. Volvo Aero has signed a deal with General Electric Aircraft Engines to become a supplier on the F414 for the Boeing F/A-18E/F. Volvo will supply fan disks, compressor cases and intermediate cases in the SKr3 billion ($350 million) contract, which is based on a production run of 2,000 engines. Flight Refuelling has received a £6.3 million contract from Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems for four shipsets of MK32B-901E refuelling pods to be fitted to KC-130J tankers. Northrop Grumman has received a $128 million order for low rate initial production of Brilliant Anti-Armour submunitions for use with the US Army Tactical Missile System. A total of 609 BATs will be produced under the contract.
