Switzerland has ordered 24 Lockheed Martin portable search and target acquisition radars for use with Stinger short-range air-defence missiles. Northrop Grumman is to supply 34 replacement centre-fuselage barrels for Canadian Forces Boeing CF-18s under a $17.5 million contract. Raytheon has received a $10.3 million US Army contract to produce the fifth suite of reconfigurable simulators under the Aviation Combined Arms Tactical Trainer programme. Quantum3D is to provide AAlchemy image generators for Maverick missile training at Lockheed Martin's F-16 mission training centres operational at two USAir Force bases. Rockwell Collins' Kaiser Electroprecision business is to develop and produce new horizontal stabiliser trim actuators for 60 Boeing C-17s, with options for 40 additional shipsets. Innovative Solutions & Support is to supply replacement central air-data computers for 370 US Air Force Fairchild A-10s, to increase reliability. Boeing has selected Honeywell as exterior visible and covert lighting systems integrator for the 767 tanker/transport.
