Boeing will remanufacture 16 AH-64D Apache Longbows for the US Army under a $212.8 million contract. A second $14.7 million contract covers AH-64D Joint Tactical Radio System development and demonstration. ViaSat will produce low-volume terminals for the MIDS jam-resistant datalink under a $43.8 million contract to equip US Navy, Air Force and Army platforms. Honeywell will supply 205 multipurpose colour displays for US Navy and Marine Corps Boeing F/A-18Cs and AV-8Bs, Kuwaiti F/A-18Cs and Italian AV-8Bs under a $15.4 million contract. Boeing will produce 1,512 combat survivor evader locator radios, associated equipment and Block 2 upgrades under a $5.6 million USAir Force contract. Curtiss-Wright is to develop the weapons bay hoist for Boeing's X-45C Joint Unmanned Combat Air System demonstrator, due to fly in early 2006. General Dynamics is to produce additional Hydra-70 70mm rockets for the US Army, Navy and Air Force under a $98.6 million deal.
