Lockheed Martin has received a $423 million multi-year contract to supply common cockpits for US Navy Sikorsky MH-60S and MH-60R helicopters. Between 141 and 270 shipsets will be acquired over five years. Lockheed Martin/Sikorsky joint venture Maritime Helicopter Support will also provide logistics support for the USN's H-60-series helicopters under a further five-year deal worth $417 million. Greece has finalised a contract of undisclosed value to acquire 34 Scalp EG/Storm Shadow stand-off-range cruise missiles and a second batch of Micaair-to-air missiles from MBDA. Greece has now bought 100 Micamissiles for its Dassault Aviation Mirage 2000-5 fighters. The US Air Force has placed contracts worth $20.8 million each with Boeing and Lockheed Martin to continue studies for its planned next-generation GPSIII global positioning system. Award of a development contract is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2005. GAMCO and CMC Electronics are to upgrade the Dubai Air Wing's Lockheed Martin C-130H-30 and L-100-30 Hercules transports. CMC's CMA-900 flight management system is the basis of the cockpit upgrade.
