France's SIMMAD logistics organisation has awarded Thales a €200 million ($240 million) contract to provide through-life support services for the Dassault Rafale over the next seven years. The deal will cover 100,000 flight hours. 

BAE Systems will manufacture seven replacement rear fuselages for the UK's Harrier GR7/GR9 ground-attack aircraft under a deal worth £11 million ($20 million).

Goodyear will research potential improvements to the tyres of the Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) under a $2.25 million contract. Enhancements must improve resistance to wear, but reduce weight.

Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal (OGMA) has signed a €120 million contract with the French defence ministry to maintain Lockheed Martin C-130H transports. The one-year deal includes maintenance, engineering services, repairs, and logistics planning.

Northrop Grumman will supply laser transmitter-receiver modules for the forward looking infrared sensor aboard US Navy Boeing F/A-18s under a $5.7 million contract. The modules are to be delivered within 13 months.

The US Air Force is ordering 128 wing-related components for the Lockheed C-5 Galaxy in a deal awarded to Vought Aircraft Industries worth up to $470 million. The contract includes wing panels, structural supports, fairings, ailerons, leading and trailing edges and slats.
