* Thales UK is to convert two Royal Navy Westland Sea King Mk 6 anti-submarine warfare helicopters to the Mk 7 airborne surveillance and control standard by 2007 under a contract worth up to £30 million ($57 million). The aircraft will replace two Sea King Mk 7s lost in the Iraq conflict.
* CAE has been awarded a C$45 million ($36 million), 15-year contract to provide maintenance and support services for five flight training devices used by the Bombardier-managed NATO Flying Training in Canada scheme.
* Lockheed Martin is to provide logisitics support for six Brazilian navy McDonnell Douglas A-4 Skyhawk strike aircraft under a four-year deal worth $6.5 million. The award also covers engine support from Lockheed Martin Aircraft Argentina.
* Alstom Power Conversion is to design and develop a reusable unmanned air vehicle launch system for potential use aboard UK naval vessels.
