A de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter 300 (P2-MFQ) operated by Mission Aviation Fellowship crashed in a remote area of Papua New Guinea on 22 February killing the two pilots. The cabin attendant and 10 passengers escaped with only minor injuries. The aircraft crashed between 13:00 and 13:45 local time in a small township in the highlands.
