Crossair has ordered two more Saab 2000s, increasing its total to 34 by mid-1999. It has also decided to purchase an aircraft which it is already operating off lease from Saab. The new aircraft are being added to meet demand at EuroAirport Basle-Mulhouse-Freiburg. Saab 340s now operating on routes such as Cologne/Bonn will be redeployed to increase service frequency to Nice to twice daily.
