Philippe Bruggisser, chief operating officer of Swiss national carrier Swissair, has been appointed chairman of regional subsidiary Crossair. He will take over the chairmanship from Swissair chief executive Otto Loepfe, who will continue to serve on the carrier's executive committee. Georges Schorderet succeeds Peter Nydegger as Swissair chief financial officer and Crossair board member. Nydegger has retired. HELITECH 97
Tony Stephenson has been named associate project director of the UK's biennial international helicopter-technology and operations exhibition Helitech 97. He was formerly with Shephard Conferences and Exhibitions.
