CSA Czech Airlines has issued a tender for up to 12 130-seat narrowbodies and aims to take first delivery by next year. The board of the Prague-based flag carrier agreed the plan last week and will issue detailed specifications to both Airbus and Boeing, the company says. The carrier has 28 737-400s, but insists that the final decision will come down to "purely financial concerns". The SkyTeam member says it expects to complete its evaluation by August and receive board approval for its selection by October, with deliveries planned between early 2005 and 2008.
