Curtiss-Wright Controls (Hall 3, Stand C10) has been busy in the acquisitions market and arrives at Farnborough having completed the purchase of Dy 4 and Primagraphics.

Dy 4, which was bought for $110 million, is considered the market leader in rugged embedded computing solutions for the defence and aerospace industries.

"The acquisition enables us to become a major player in the commercial-off-the-shelf embedded computing market place," says Curtiss-Wright Controls president George Yohrling. "It also gives us a sizeable sales base."

The $21 million purchase of British-based military and civil applications specialist Primagraphics expands Curtiss-Wright Controls' capabilities with graphics and video technology.
