Curtis Wright (Hall 3, Stand C10) will supply rotary actuators for the wing flaps of the Lockheed Martin/Boeing F/A-22 from 2004 until 2009. The agreement is the second F/A-22 programme award Curtis-Wright has secured in six months through its motion control business segment Curtis-Wright Controls.
Curtiss-Wright developed the actuators and has supplied the parts to Boeing from the programme's inception and development through the current production lot. The F/A-22 contract previously awarded by Lockheed Martin was also for flap actuation equipment.
