By electing two new members to the airline's board of directors, the CSA Czech Airlines Supervisory Board has filled the final two vacant positions on the Czech flag carrier's management team.

The appointments are Zuzana Rezníckova as vice-president marketing and sales, and Petr Juza as vice-president of the economy division. Both were recruited by search consultants Dr Kaufmann & Partner/Amrop Hever Group.

Rezníckova, a graduate of the Prague Institute of Chemical Technology, has held positions in senior marketing and sales at various consumer-related companies including Master Foods and Eurotel. Juza, who studied at the Czech University of Technology, has held managerial positions in finance and investment analysis for companies like Aliatel, Západoèeská  energetika and Komerèní banka.

"Last year, CSA adopted the German model of management, which is based on harmony between the top management and membership in the company's board of directors,"says the company. "The advantage of this model is maximum management effectiveness and fundamental responsibility for all related decisions."

Jaroslav Svábík, vice-president for human resources, says: "The president of CSA considers the team to be dynamic and professionally balanced, as it combines long-time aviation professionals as well as renowned professionals from other fields."
