The Czech Republic has ordered two Airbus Corporate Jetliners (ACJ), bringing the sales tally for the ACJ family to 70 aircraft. The CFM International CFM56-5-powered aircraft will replace Tupolev Tu-154s in service and will be used for government official and troop transport. The aircraft will be completed by Lufthansa Technik. The Czech Republic is the third European country after France and Italy to acquire the A319-based business jet for government transport. Other goverment owners include Azebaijan, Brazil, Qatar, Thailand and Venezuela.
