American firm Flight Visions' next generation head-up-display (HUD) for the Czech Republic air force can be seen in Hall 2/A24. The next generation HUD, which will be installed and certified on 72 AeroVodochody L-159s, will include the FV-3000 computer along with the Sparrow Hawk optics - both can be seen on the stand. A prototype was delivered last month and production is due to start in 1997. The firm manufactures and markets off-the-shelf and customised weapon delivery systems, HUDs, symbol generators and mission display processors for the worldwide military and civilian market.
