Dubai Aerospace Enterprise's leasing arm appears to have cancelled its remaining Airbus orders, the airframer having wiped all 45 aircraft - and the customer - from its books in June.
The Middle Eastern lessor had outstanding orders for 11 A350-900s as well as 34 A320s in May.
But Airbus's order backlog for the first half of 2011 shows that all the jets have been removed from the airframer's listing.
DAE had been slashing its orders from both Airbus and Boeing after its plans to establish a huge leasing operation derailed.
But the cancellations barely dented Airbus's sales figures for June. The airframer recorded orders for 601 aircraft during the month, buoyed by the signature of huge deals at the Paris air show.
AirAsia's order for 200 A320neo twinjets and the finalisation of IndiGo Airlines' agreement for 180 A320-family aircraft, plus deals with GoAir, SAS Group and GECAS, helped lift Airbus's gross figure to 777 so far in 2011.
These have included 706 A320-family aircraft, 53 A330s, six A350s and 12 A380s. Airbus delivered 258 aircraft in the first half of the year, an increase on the figure of 250 over the same period in 2010.
Airbus's order total, net of cancellations, reached 640 by the end of June.
