Two EJ200 engines installed in the afterbody of a Eurofighter Typhoon will be in regular use on the Eurojet company's stand at Farnborough. Following successful demonstrations at the Paris and Berlin airshows, each will display features of the EJ200 engine. One undergoes maintenance demonstrations to illustrate both existing and potential customers how simply and quickly maintenance operations can be completed on the EJ200. The second engine features an innovative thrust-vectoring nozzle designed and developed by the consortium's Spanish partner ITP. A daily programme of maintainability demonstrations will be undertaken on the Eurojet stand (Hall 4-K9) by both industry and Royal Air Force personnel. Engine health monitoring via boroscope inspection will also be shown.
