British Airways has increased a compensation offer, to £14,000 each, to some 110 of the 340 Dan-Air pilots whom it made redundant when it bought the collapsed UK carrier in October 1992. The move follows an industrial-tribunal decision heavily criticising the BA move The remainder of the pilots have been offered less.
