Danish charter airline Jet Time will begin renting digEcor's digEplayer L7 portable in-flight entertainment (IFE) units to passengers aboard its fleet of Boeing 737s.
The digEplayer programme is being offered in cooperation with Stockholm-based Inflight Media, which currently provides print media, such as magazines and newspapers, for Jet Time.
Passengers on selected flights will be offered the digEplayer L7 as a rental option. Content will include both Scandinavian, offered in Danish and Swedish, and Hollywood films, with Danish and Swedish sub-titles. Other content will include television shows, cartoons, music videos, music, and games, says digEcor.
"Our experience is that passengers wish to select movies and entertainment themselves and watch the movies at their own pace, which the L7 offers," says Jet Time chief commercial officer John Uggerhoj.
Flightglobal's ACAS database indicates that Jet Time operates a fleet of seven Boeing 737s.
