Daimler-Benz Aerospace (DASA) is appointing Dr Udo Pollvogt to the newly founded post of board representative for political affairs, from 1 July. Pollvogt will also become Chief of DASA's representation in Bonn, taking the helm at the company's Bonn and Berlin offices. He will report directly to chairman designate Dr Manfred Bischoff. Pollvogt has led DASA's space-infrastructure division in Bremen for three years. This position will now be taken over by Josef Kind, hitherto chief of personnel policy. Kind's former post is being taken over by Jurgen Buschmann, now head of economics and personnel at Mercedes-Benz commercial-vehicles subsidiary Nutzfahrzeuge Ludwigsfelde.
