DASSAULT Electronique swung back to losses in 1995 after trouble at its telecommunications subsidiary Dassault AT, but expects profits to return this year.

Despite a better performance from its core aerospace businesses, the group ended the year with an overall net loss of Fr21.4 million ($4 million). That came after losses of Fr166 million at Dassault AT.

Group president Bertand Daugny says that sales should reach "around Fr4.5 billion" this year. "We would like a more solid partnership with Thomson in the radars and countermeasures businesses following privatisation," he says.
