Catherine O'Brien has left Deutsche Bank after eight years at the firm, say sources.
She is joining the equity research team at Goldman Sachs, FlightGlobal understands.
O'Brien covered aircraft leasing at Deutsche Bank. Michael Linenberg, who is managing director and senior research analyst, will take over her coverage, according to an e-mail seen by FlightGlobal.
Last month, Deutsche Bank announced plans to cut its investment banking services to refocus on its European business.
Recently, Nathaniel Felsher and Patrick Kaufer were appointed global co-heads of aviation corporate and investment banking after Michael Masterson, who served as co-head of transportation and infrastructure and global head of aviation, moved to New York investment bank Greenhill.
Deutsche Bank did not immediately respond to requests for comment while Goldman Sachs declines to comment.
