flight awards 3The nominations process is simple. Entries should consist of a piece of text not more than 200 words as to why the particular development or individual would be worthy recipients of a Flight award and why that particular entry meets the judging criteria.

Additional material can be attached in the form of hyperlinks to web-based material to support the nomination.

Companies and individuals can nominate themselves or others whom they believe to be worthy recipients of a Flight Award.

In the case of technology and product awards these nominations will then go into an on-line voting system on www.flightglobal.com where users can cast their votes on the entries. From this process a shortlist of entrants will be generated to go before the judging panel to select the final winners.

In the case of awards to achievements in the operational sector - for people and teams - nominations will be formed into a short-list by senior Flight International staff - and it is from this short-list that the panel of judges will select the winners.

Contenders will then be notified and the awards will be presented at a glittering awards ceremony during the Paris Airshow in front of the good and great of the industry on the evening of Monday June 18 2007 at the Pavillon d'Armeononville.
