Russia's air navigation service Rosaeronavigatsia has introduced restrictions on carriers Dalavia and Interavia due to debt arrears.

The organisation says that the air traffic control debts are several months overdue, and the airlines have already been warned several times over the timeliness of payments. The decision to start restricting air navigation services to aircraft operated by the two companies was implemented last week.

Since the summer Rosaeronavigatsia has been engaged in a crackdown on air traffic charges, and threatened to withdraw air navigation services from carriers who failed to meet payment obligations.
