Six Lockheed Martin F-16Cs funded in the 1996 US defence budget will be delivered to the US Air Force in 1999.
The USAF had been scheduled to receive its last F-16 in early 1997, until US Congress added almost $160 million to the 1996 budget for the first six of a possible 120 new F-16s.
