Delta Air Lines has applied for US Department of Transportation (DOT) authority to operate to Peru, and plans to initiate Atlanta-Lima service within 90 days of receiving the necessary approvals.
Additionally, Delta has requested that the DOT deny American Airlines permission to expand its operations beyond the limits imposed by the US-Peru bilateral agreement.
