Delta Air Lines will launch new seasonal flights between New York's John F. Kennedy (JFK) airport and Vancouver on 6 June 2013.

The Atlanta-based Skyteam carrier will operate the once daily service on a Boeing 737-800, it says. The flight will operate through 3 September 2013.

Delta says that the new service is part of its continued growth in the New York market.

Cathay Pacific Airways flies once daily between JFK and Vancouver, and Air Canada and United Airlines each operate once daily between Newark and Vancouver, according to Innovata schedules.
