Denmark’s first of 14 EH101 Joint Supporter search and rescue/utility helicopters arrived at Karup airbase on 12 January following a delivery flight from AgustaWestland’s Yeovil site in the UK.
The aircraft – Denmark’s second production example – was among an initial three accepted by the Danish air force last year and due for delivery by late this month. Subsequent aircraft will be delivered at a rate of around one a month, with frontline operations to start in June.
