Israel Aircraft Industries and Russia's Kazan Helicopter and Mil design bureau have completed the critical design review of an upgrade for the Mi-172 transport helicopter and will deliver the first of three modified aircraft to Venezuela early next year. The team intends to offer the aircraft to operators in Latin America and other regions.
