DM Aerospace will be launching FlightVu, which consists of a range of video-camera equipment designed for use on commercial aircraft. The FV-0100 is a monochrome video camera for mounting externally on an aircraft, and is heated, sealed and easily maintainable. The FV-0300 performs a similar function, but uses a colour camera. The FV-0700, meanwhile, is a digital flight-data recorder (DFDR), which is capable of recording eight video channels for the duration of a flight. Also being launched, in conjunction with British Aerospace (Systems & Equipment) (BASE), is a crash-protected version of the FV-0700, which incorporates the crash memory module used in BASE's SCR-500 combined DFDR.
