The Dominican Republic air force has taken delivery of its first Casa C212-400 utility transport. A second aircraft is set for delivery in May and the country has an option to take a third C212. The aircraft will be based with the air force's air transport squadron at San Isidro air base close to Santo Domingo. The type replaces Douglas DC-3s.
