Mike Francis has been appointed president of TI Group member Dowty Aerospace Yakima, of Washington state, which specialises in high-technology hydraulic units and systems. He replaces Bill Wheeler, who is to retire. Francis was most recently managing director of Lucas Aerospace Flight Control Systems, based at Wolverhampton, UK.
