Dräger Aerospace (Hall 3, A6) has been awarded a contract by Airbus to design and deliver the emergency oxygen system for the Airbus A380. Dräger will be the system integrator for the passenger and cockpit emergency oxygen system, designed and manufactured in cooperation with its team partners Carleton Technologies and Intertechnique.

In a separate deal, Dräger is to supply an oxygen system (pictured) which allows high-altitude parachute jumps at up to 33,000ft, to the German Special Forces. The $7,500 system contains parachute equipment and an oxygen mask. The oxygen supply allows a glide distance of 75km.
