Hong Kong's Dragonair has signed a contract with Singapore Airlines to purchase two Boeing 747-300 Combis for conversion into freighters by Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering. They will be delivered to Dragonair after conversion in July and September 2001.

US air freight company National Air Cargo has ordered four Boeing 777-200 Freighters, with plans to acquire two of the jets in the fourth quarter of 2025 and the remaining two in the first quarter of 2026.
