The US Department of Justice's Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has selected MD Helicopters' (MDHI) light utility Explorer as an on- and off-shore patrol aircraft. The contract, which is part of DEA's campaign to reduce the production and distribution of illegal drugs in the USA, will run for one year with an option to extend to four years, says MDHI.
