SME Aerospace is bidding to become a sub-supplier of machined parts for US manufacturer Boeing. The Malaysian company, which already manufactures small parts for the Airbus A320, A340 and A380 airliners and BAE Systems' Hawk trainer, says it has submitted quotes to Boeing first-tier suppliers in Asia, Australia and the USA.
