Usually when people celebrate a birthday they receive presents, but one exhibitor at the show has decided to do things the other way around.
ExecuJet Middle East (stand E370), based just across the airfield from Airport Expo, is celebrating 10 years of operations in the region and as part of its anniversary the company is offering a 10% discount on all scheduled maintenance labour booked or carried out before 1 February 2010.
The Swiss-headquartered organisation is a Bombardier authorised service facility and specialises in the maintenance of Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global Express business jets. It is also licensed on the Gulfstream G150 and G200 as an authorised service facility and holds Part 145 maintenance approvals from 13 different national aviation's authorities including he European Aviation Safety Agency.
Execujet also is a Honeywell engine/APU and avionics service centre and Rockwell Collins business and regional systems dealer. Its mobile repair station supports aircraft on ground situations and its engineers hold entry visas for Saudi Arabia and India.
The company started in Dubai in 1999 with just a couple of managed aircraft, but now boasts a managed fleet of more than 20 aircraft including the recently added Global XRS and Challenger 605.
"We are especially pleased to participate at the Dubai air show this year as we celebrate 10 years in the Middle East," says managing director Mike Berry. "We are starting to see the first early signs of an upturn after what has been an unprecedented fall-off in business aircraft flying in this region as a result of the global economic crisis, which has impacted tourism and progress on various regional development projects. In this context the show will be a terrific boast for the region and we will maximise our presence to network and take the opportunity to promote our full aviation services."
