Honeywell has secured a deal to provide Garuda Indonesia with weather radar for 25 Boeing 737-800 aircraft, as well as an avionics and APU contract with India's Kingfisher Airlines.
Garuda has selected Honeywell's IntuVue 3-D weather radar and seven other information management products for 25 737-800s delivered between mid-2009 and 2011, says Honeywell. Worth over $28 million, the contract includes options for 25 additional aircraft.
In India, Honeywell will provide Kingfisher with "a suite of its safety and navigational avionics" as well as its auxiliary power unit. The contract covers up to 150 aircraft, and includes Honeywell's LED navigational lighting, says Honeywell.
